My name is Shanise Garcia I am 26 years old with a passion for Hip Hop. I have taught myself how to dance at a young age with the inspiration of Michael Jackson and Chris Brown. I began taking classes in 2019 at Inspire Dance Academy, which led me to join another Dance company by the name of Colorado Dance Collective in Greeley Colorado. I was dancing at Colorado Dance Collective for about 5 years and became a Hip Hop director for about a year. I started teaching choreography once I became a director, but my whole dancing career consisted of freestyling. I have recently found a love for afro beats and the style that it gives off. In my choreography I want my students to have fun, express themselves, and add in their own swag. As the Hip Hop director my goal is to add in multiple styles and have either hard hitting or smooth styles. I love energy in my class and want everyone to have fun and use this as an escape from chaos in the world. I am excited to be the Hip Hop Director for this company and will be looking forward to dancing with all of you!

Hi, I’m Michelle—but everyone calls me Michi. I’m a 24-year-old self-taught dancer from New York with Latin roots, so rhythm is basically in my DNA. I specialize in funk styles, with waacking and locking as my sweet spot, and I’m also trained in intermediate and advanced hip hop, always serving groove, musicality, and a little attitude every time I hit the floor.
I’ve been teaching for 4–6 years, and I know how to break things down while keeping class fun, engaging, and high-energy. I believe dance should feel just as good as it looks—and if the vibes aren’t right, don’t worry, I’ll fix them (probably with the right music and a little sass).
In my choreography, I love blending hip hop and funk, creating a fusion that’s expressive, confident, and rooted in musicality. I also plan to dabble in heels choreography, bringing that same groove and funk into a more bold, empowered space.
I live, laugh, and love disco and R&B—Chris Brown stays on repeat—and the color purple is a lifestyle choice. Disco balls are an instant energy boost, and if there’s sparkle, a beat, or a dance floor involved, I’m all in. I’m all about confidence, freedom, and having a damn good time while dancing.
Catch me somewhere between a groove, a laugh, and a disco ball moment 💜✨

Hello divas! My name is Isaiah baca, I’m 22 years old and born in Greeley Colorado. I’m honored and grateful to be the founder of groovin hues dance. I have been dancing since I was 10 years old, mainly in hip hop, contemporary, ballet, and jazz! i started at top notch dance company in hip hop and from there it took off, my passion for dance really grew when I went to Greeley central highschool and joined their arts magnet program. From there I got to be in mutiple dance concerts, choreographed and got to the behind the scenes in producing shows. Then from there I continued my dance education at Colorado mesa university majoring in dance. I specialize in contemporary dance and love to fuse other genres in it. Although I mainly specialize in contemporary, I also love jazz alot. i love having two sides of personality with dance, i can be artistic and flowy but I can also be hard hitting, sharp, and sassy. I will be the director in the contemporary classes. I’m super excited to see the future of groovin hues and meet talented artists.

Hey there! I'm Sofia; a dancer born in El Salvador, raised on rhythm, and powered by pure attitude. I specialize in freestyle and animation (popping subgenre), which means I don't just follow counts, I vibe with the music and let it boss me around (in a good way). My style is expressive and slightly unpredictable, kind of like my playlist

Dance isn't just something I do, it's how I survive. I bring confidence, intensity, and fearless energy into every room I step into, and I'm not afraid to look crazy if it means hitting a move just right. Whether I'm freestyling, battling, or learning choreography, I show up hungry, focused, and ready to grow even when my body is tired and my brain forgot the combo.
I'm here to stand out, not blend in. My goal is to dance on big stages and in music videos; and until then I'll be in the studio, sweating, popping, and pretending I'm already famous

I’m known for my high energy, outgoing personality, and constant drive to learn new movements, tricks, and styles. Originally from Delano, California, I later moved to Colorado, where I continued to grow as both a dancer and performer. Dance allows me to express emotion, creativity, and individuality—especially through contemporary—and that freedom of expression is what keeps me inspired every day.

My name is Natalie, everyone calls me nat for short ;) I was born and raised in Colorado, music and dance have been the highlight and stage in my life since I was in elementary school. I always took an interest in Dance because I grew up around Dance in my family. My dad was a Breakdancer so I took big inspiration from that, so whether I'm hitting the dance floor or supporting others, I thrive on rhythm and movement and of course SWAG lol. Living life one step at a time made my Passion for dance grow and I learned to express myself through movement, musicality, rhythm, and the art on its own. I found joy in every beat, I love to be swaggy no matter the dance, the people around me have always been so positive and helped me push my self to my fullest. My strongest style would be hip hop, but im very open to learning all styles of dance, I appreciate the growth and dedication I’ve put in myself to accomplish what I have so far. I had a little taste of everything, like wacking, jazz, popping, afro beats, house, and heels. While also participating in competitions such as Verve and World of Dance, both being such amazing opportunities and plenty of good memories with my dance peeps:)
